In the last month, I have been in Orange County and Brentwood in California, Charleston SC, Vancouver BC and Seattle WA (where I am now).
Even though it's been seriously sweaty in Clearwater, in California I still need a light sweater and in Vancouver a light jacket. Seattle feels more like October than May.
The big temperature differences in various parts of the country (when it should be coming up daffodils everywhere) never cease to amaze me.
We (that is Billie, Anna and I) will be traveling to Portland and joining up with Karen for our National Specialty from June 12 to 19. We will be staying at the Red Lion Hotel in Vancouver WA.
If you are close to these shows please come by and cheer us on. We'll need all the help we can get! For more information click on:

I have continued to be busy working on the CKC Group One trophy portraits -- three more are ready to go. Yes, they aren't "small dogs" -- but aren't they lovely?
This lovely Greyhound had a classic glow.
This Skye (named Buddy) turned Anna into a groupie. He is the only dog to win Group 1 at both our Clearwater shows.
This was a magic moment between Buddy and his handler. I noticed that every time his handler took Buddy off the examination table, he kissed him. To keep this portrait a bit softer than my usual portraits, I didn't use any ink, only watercolor pencils.
I completed a 2 month process in January of updating our store, adding Tshirts and belly bands (these are bands that go around your boy's middle that help in the house training process). We changed the store so much we renamed it:
The PawPrint Gallery.
As far as the cards are concerned, I can put any caption inside you'd like. And if you see a portrait or comic you'd like to have on a card or T Shirt, let me know. I'll see what I can do.
And as always, enjoy!

Greeting Cards Are For More Than Just the Holidays
Christmas is over. Why should you bother about dog cards?
Think of it this way. A beautiful card sent to say "thanks" or to tell a friend you care never goes out of season.
The PawPrint Gallery
And if I don't yet have your breed or you'd like a custom card made from your photograph, I can easily do that. A custom portrait costs just $200.00. Then cards are just 10 for $15.00. No shipping and handling! You can email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me what you are looking for.
Here is my upcoming schedule. If I am heading for your neck of the woods, let me know! Some dates may change slightly as the trip approaches. I will update the calendar in future newsletter issues.
