Hello!
If you live in northern areas, you are hunkered down in cold, wet weather. Seems like New England and Chicagoland are getting the bulk of the big snows this year, but I'm sure everyone is experiencing lots of cold, gray days.
Down here in Clearwater we have some cold but it's mostly sweater weather. The days are bright and sunny and all the escapees from the north are here with us, filling our streets and beaches.
The dogs love the weather and spend hours outside wrassling, playing "Catch Me If You Can" and "King of the Mountain".
We had our big Florida Winter Classic in January, a marathon of 10 days of shows in Brooksville, which is only about 60 miles north or here. Here's 2 videos from the cluster:
Brooksville 2011 Videos.
Our Silky kennel Tessier attended all 10 days. For our personal results, including pictures, please visit:

And if you'd like a chuckle as to what stressed out and goof-bally exhibitors can get up to when attending ten dog shows in eleven days, check out:

I completed a 2 month process in January of updating our store, adding Tshirts and belly bands (these are bands that go around your boy's middle that help in the house training process). We changed the store so much we renamed it:
The PawPrint Gallery.
I have started to work on the 14 portraits needed for the Group 1 trophies awarded at our Clearwater Kennel Club shows; not all of them were small dogs, of course, but the first one to be completed will be a French Bulldog and the one after that will be a Shetland Sheepdog. I'll post them as they come off the "assembly line"!
I'm cooking up several ideas for our next contest, look out for the details in the coming month.
And as always, enjoy!
Best,
Sandy Mesmer

Greeting Cards Are For More Than Just the Holidays
Christmas is over. Why should you bother about dog cards?
Think of it this way. A beautiful card sent to say "thanks" or to tell a friend you care never goes out of season.
The PawPrint Gallery
is here!
And if I don't yet have your breed or you'd like a custom card made from your photograph, I can easily do that. A custom portrait costs just $100.00. Then cards are just 10 for $15.00. No shipping and handling! You can email me directly at smesmer@yahoo.com and tell me what you are looking for.

often for new articles, contests and to add your own two cents to the discussion. Our small dogs are cheeky little devils, aren't they?
And I for one wouldn't have them any other way.
