My Story About My BIG Small Dog

Candy can sit like this for hours, until she gets what she wants.

In honor of our pooches' BIG personalities, About Small Dogs is starting a new contest.

We are looking for stories that speak to the BIG character and personality of small dogs, preferably with pictures. Pure bred or mutt doesn't matter, but your dog must be under 25 lbs.

The winning photograph and story will be turned into a Christmas card by Maxwell nominated artist Sandy Mesmer and the winner will receive 50 of those cards FREE with customized text inside. Second and third place will get 50 Christmas cards free. Deadline for the contest is September 1.

Sounds pretty cool to us!

And who will be the judge? You will. Your comments on the stories will count -- you will also be able to vote to us directly at

You can write as many stories as you like.
